Uniting Communities to Outrun Diabetes

The Dash4Diabetes 5K & 10K Walk/Run is a premier fundraising and endurance race that provides a full morning of fitness, food, and fun for people at any stage of their health journey. We welcome beginners and seasoned walkers & runners to join us in making a difference for diabetes, which has reached epidemic levels in Florida. Over 12.5% of Floridians have been diagnosed with diabetes, with many more unaware of their condition. Type 2 diabetes, which accounts for up to 95% of all cases, can be managed through good nutritional habits and exercise, which is the main focus of this event. Dash4Diabetes is a family-friendly outing that offers activities suitable for everyone. We encourage you to register early, put on your running shoes, invite your loved ones, and join us in promoting health, families, and community!

Help Us Power the Fit Futures Initiative

Too many kids across Tampa Bay lack access to safe, supportive spaces to get active, and the impact is real. Type 2 diabetes, once rare in children, is now rising fast, with alarming speed.

Fit Futures is here to change that.

Through monthly run clinics, mentoring, nutrition support, and access to local races, we’re helping kids build endurance, confidence, and healthy habits for life.

Your Support Makes It Happen:

Form a team. Raise funds. Help us:

  • Provide running shoes and race entries
  • Fund community-based run coaches
  • Reach more kids across Tampa Bay

Every dollar moves a child off the sidelines and onto a path toward lifelong wellness.
